What would you do if you were poor, ugly and had no education?

im at that stage now.. there is nothing i can do but stay focused and ignore all the nasty comments i get lol

being poor is not a problem, its how you would act on it like forcing yourself to work, being ugly is not also a big problem when you have worked and earned money you could do something with your face, and when you are pretty and you have money you could join those elite people and strive to earn a degree....but if i cant do all those things then i would not kill myself for being like that i would just strive hard to make a decent living

upon whose standards would you base these qualities...at the country club i could qualify maybe...but in a 3rd world country i could be considered normal...

Get a job, save for cosmetic surgery, and with my newly found self esteem would educate myself, then get a better paying job.

Get a job to gain some self-esteem, seek a way to get some education (there's all kinds of federal programs) to improve my self-confidence and strive to make myself beautiful within. People with confidence are naturally attractive...

to work hard or be industrious, develop any skills or talent i might have, to be kind and helpful to others, responsible and law abiding one, humane and God fearing

look at the poor kids and adults dying in the world...theres were youll find your answer

In my years of volunteer work I have made many friends as you describe poor,uneducated (Im not to big on judging ppls looks and thus them).
Anywho the poor and ignorant learn to let other people and the goverment take care of them,or the ones I know became better off than those others with the formal education,they had a trade,technical know how and in todays world those are the ones living well,others Ive known tried to get education,but fell out due to social stigmas thus either today remain poor,and uneducated by the books,yet are honorable people with good common sense,or they got their education in vain.
What would I do I would hope I would have someone like myself a volunteer mentor to give them/me that little push I needed.

Well, I AM UGLY, I was poor at one time, and I only have a high school GED, so I would say IMPROVE yourself. I have improved greatly over the years and as far as being UGLY well I am comfortable with this.
