Do Taxi Drivers wear Christmas hats to get a Tip?

Just to make the kids happy thats why i wear a hat

Santa hats are warmer than baseball caps. They do it to be economical, they wear a warmer hat- the heat gets turned down. Ever notice?

Well, I've never been a Taxi Driver, but I would assume that they wear Christmas hats for the same reason other people wear Christmas sweatshirts, or sweaters, or pins...to spread Christmas cheer!
And if, while spreading the Christmas cheer, someone wants to spread a little dough around in the Taxi Drivers direction, well, why not?
