What age is to old to believe in Santa Clause??

My daughter is 9 and she is in the middle of believing and not believing. Should I just tell her the truth? I just don't want her to get made fun of cause she still does kind of believe in him!!!

before i even read the rest of you explaination i was gonna say 8 - 10 yrs old you should sit her down and tell her the truth but to understand not to ruin her siblings fun and imagination

tell her after christmas...my mom told me before christmas! when i was 9 also..my heart was temporairly broken.

let her figure out on her own, as for me.....my older brothers ruined it for me when i was younger, and i turned out to dream of killing santa and ruining christmas rather than dreaming of recieving toys from him...so yeah.....let her find out on her own =]

but yes, telling her the truth is so much better than having her mind wandering around on the non-existence of Santa.

I figured itout on my own at 5..
No offense, but she probably already knows..and just doesn't want to tell you..I let my dad think that he was revealing this huge secret when I had really known for years..But if she is wondering about the reality..tell her..some kids get angry at their parents for lieing to them longer than necessary..

I'm 38, and that's not old enough.

I think between the ages 8-10. I found out at the age 9 and then i questioned if the easter bunny was real also, what a let down ;-(

i don't know....I have a 8 year old, and a 7 year old...they still believe in the Tooth Fairy. :)

we led my parents believe that we still believed in him cause we did not want to hurt my mom's feelings. she was always soooo siked about santa presents and stuff.
i never had the heart to tell her.
SOOOO, in my 30's i still get presents from santa!
and the same for my sis

I think when a child is 9years of age,shuld be wise enuf to know.
