What is your favorite thing about christmas?

Mine is watching my kids open their presents and spending time with family.. Christmas makes me feel so warm inside:)

reliving the past is what i see in Christmas. first and formost it is the celebration of the birth of Christ...He came down to redeem the world. it is also reliving the past in our own lives...reminicing with family...and enjoying your loved ones presence. Many Christmas blessings!

i like getting off school

Spending time with family and eating delicious food.

Mine is all the lights and snow..... :)

Gifts and being with my mom for the whole day

Being out of school

going down to the homeless shelter and giving something to someone who deserves it more than others do.

this year getting 12 days off work and fish uninterupted

Christmas dinner, family time and gifts-- giving and receiving them

one whole day off work. I hate America in other countries say england, etc, they get like 2 weeks off paid. Time to move

Mine is seeing my kids get so excited waiting for Santa and then passing out and seeing family members that I haven't seen in a while

My son was 3 months old last Christmas, so this will be the first Christmas where he'll get some new stuff he can actually play with. I have no doubt that will be my favorite thing about Christmas from here on out. He lights up when he get's his hands on anything new, be it a box or a Little People Farm.

aw, thats a good favorite thing about Christmas! My favorite is celebrating Jesus' birth, putting on our Christmas play at the Church, and opening presents(of course..). star for you! : )

getting people gifts

EXACTLY! My favorite thing is seeing the look on someones face as they open something they were sure they werent getting! Seeing that smile creep up on their face! Its amazing! My son is NOT expecting a PS3 or a laptop this year BUT I did get them so I cant wait to see the look of surprise and happiness on his face!!!! Makes it all worht while! Then the second thing is totally Christmas Dinner. We all cook it together. My son always does the mashed taters nad gravy and I do the ham and yams, my hubby does the green bean casserole and so on! We all do the pies together. We have so much fun laughing and talking thru it....its wonderful for us all to be together. Half the time we cant even eat dinner together due to work and all so when we do- it means everything to me!

December 26th

once its all over and done with for another year...

(yeah, i know, i've been getting the 'scrooge' lecture from everyone for about a week and a half now which only drives the point home more - I Cant Wait Til Its OVER)

the cold outside and the coffee cup in my hand inside

watching my kids mouth drop to the floor when they see their disney vanity all set up next to the tree

making a special breakfast, eating cookies first thing in the morning

Taking all the twist ties all one hundred of them off the kids new toys (a little sarcasm there)

that feeling of I can't believe christmas is here and you won't experience it again for a whole year later

And yes, that warm cozy feeling I get with my husband, and two girls!

Looking out the window and seeing a pristeen snowfall cover everything.....
