Why cant you ask guys out?
I am not saying that you haven't just wanting an explanation to why guys are the ones who are supposed to ask people out

I always ask a guy out if I'm interested. I'm not patient enough to wait for him to do it.

It doesn't bother me to ask guys out. I guess though, some women don't ask guys out because traditionally the guys always ask the girls. It is kind of dumb that a lot of girls don't ask guys out.

i know i would never ask a guy out because im afraid of rejection. i know guys have to deal with the same thing but i old fashioned in the sense that a guy should ask me out. i dont want to make a fool out of myself by being the one to go after a man. but if i am really interested in someone i will make it apparent that i want them. if they dont take the hint then screw them. another one will walk by soon

I guess u can...I'm old-fashioned that way....I knew this girl who asked her man to marry her.....that makes me shudder~~~~>it seems so desperate! I think it is more customary for men to take the lead and ask a woman out...

Social expectations. Also, some girls might feel that the guy would consider them "easy" if they did the asking. Other girls just like to be pursued. Then there's also the whole fear of rejection thing. Guys can be really mean if they don't like the girl... especially in front of their friends. Hope this helps.

Um.. well I actaully have asked a guy out.
But with most girls, I think that they have a severe fear of rejection and are super insecure. And so most girls just let the guys do the asking out.

If I liked the guy enough I would just chance it and just ask him out.

If I really like a guy, I think he will know that and if he likes me, he can let me know. Usually that's how the guy ends up asking me. I never really gave it much thought. This last time, it was just a mutual liking and then more. lol
