Who is the best r&b diva?

MJB hands down. Much love goes out to Keyshia Cole, Beyonce, Alica Keys, and Rihanna, but MJB knows how to put her emotions into her songs, and knows how to do it well. Not to say that the other 4 artist won't be able to obtain that level in there music, but they do have many levels to get through before they can catch up with her. If I had to put them in order after MJB, it would be:
1) MJB
2) Keyshia Cole and Alicia Keys (tied)
3) Beyonce
4) Rihanna

To be honest, i like them all except for rihanna really.
But Mary J. Blidge has this one. She's been through it all. Most of the other peoplein this question would say shes inspired then right along with Diana Ross.

Mary without a doubt. She has been around alot longer and she has showed us so many different sides of her. She lets it be known that she is just as human as everyone else. Mary hands down.

That's tough...Rihanna is a great singer and entertainer but i would bump her outta this category. I would say it is between MJB and Keyshia Cole really. Alicia Keys is hot...but still not where MJB and Keyshia are. The only thing is we all know Mary...she has been around for years and Keyshia Cole is kinda new on the scene...newer than Alicia Keys, but her music and style is awesome too...Beyonce been around for awhile too, but her music isn't as deep as MJB and Keyshia, she has good taste in style and can dance, but she cannot be compared...

These singers are all wonderful, but I don't think any of them come close to Mary J. Blige...a real rags to riches story...and she was addicted to drugs and got clean...with all that happening, she had time to become a powerhouse singer! She's wonderful...I just love her voice!

Unlock Everyone else.... Keyshia cole doesn't run around have naked and acting like a new age tina turner. I love beyonce, but I am sick of her. keyshia cole is vocalist first and foremost. I am sick of the trickery ; let's get back to the music.
