Turn tables. Once upon a time they had these things called records that most kids today don't know about. They were made of vinal and have groves in them. Dj's still get music on the big round discs.

Turntables (Technics SL1200 & 1210 are the industry standard).
CDJs. CD players that allows you to push and 'scratch' cds like real vinyls, but it also has electronic effects such as looping.
Laptops & mp3 players. Not my style of mixing, but fast becoming accepted by the top dogs in the industry.
