There are more than they know about in the U.K I noticed when I lived there,, As everybody I was meeting up in Norwich, where I was for 7 of the 24 months I was there, were totally surprised to hear that the Stones were still alive and well, and touring constantly in the United States and that they have been for just about 35/40y years non-stop now.. but they thought of, and talked like they were talking about the Hollies or something.. But,, on the same hand, I had just went to the Stone's giant concert at the Oakland colliusium, a few months earlier, but couldn't find a booked gig for them on thier "Home Rock" for over a year.. and even then there were only 2 dates... What's up with that anyway???? And why is it that Cliff Richards is doing to be so popular in the U.K when I know he can't do a benefit over here if he wanted to because of that lack of talent that he has always seemed to have.. that isn't anyone's fault, and I wish my lack of talent paid the way his did/does,,, Like a limie Wayne Newton or something....
But I loved the fact that Lulu was on the tube on night with her own show singing her little as* off, when there's a whole contitinent right over that way about 3000 miles that havent' heard anything about her since 1967 when "To Sir with Love" finally left the theatres, and they didn't go to DVD then ,,, but she a little "Stick of Dynomite" isn't she... for what... 50 something by now.. for sure at least that...????
