...ummm, that is kinda a hard one since summer means so many different things to different people. The best way to figure this one out ( I think) is to think of what songs trigger the feeling of the end of the school year. Those songs are usually popular for the entire summer.

Hmm. When I think of songs that are related to summer, what comes out on my mind are reggae songs such as IN THE SUMMERTIME by Shaggy or Jerry Mungo, or I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW by Johnny Nash. Or from a faster tempo, I got the Beach Boys' SURFIN' USA (Aaron Carter have also a cover of it), WALKING ON SUNSHINE by Katrina & The Waves. But since the condition has to be slow or rocky, I suggests FOLK ROCK & COUNTRY SONGS such as:
