Why are there Soul Train reruns instead of new episodes on syndication?

R&B music is dead we see the same artists and there is no change in the music everything is about hip hop and it gets very tiring We need to see some fresh artists.

Much rather see the old ones Soul Train was at it's peak during the 70's 80's and early 90's.

The old school soul train is much better than the newer ones maybe?

I haven't the faintest idea. I was thinking that maybe they are making new episodes? Or, I hate to say it but, maybe they got cancelled. I'm online now looking for information on the subject. I love watching Soul Train. And I want them to come back with some new ones!
