I don't know of the genre name, but you are talking about "a cappella", which is italian for "at the chapel." In our use it simply means singing solo.

usually these are not available except directly from the record company. If the company gave out each individual track, people could mix their own songs (which has been done with remixes of songs) but otherwise, the record company would not make any money... so good luck finding just the vocal track, not aware of how that would be accessible otherwise. sorry.
