the ukulele insturement. is it pronounced YOU-kooh-lele or OOH-ka-lele?

Um...the way I've heard most people say it is:
you-kuh-lay-lee or you-kuh-lee-lee LOL
I say it as you-kuh-lay-lee

You-kuh-lay-lay
