Why are there so many songs about nothing relly?(like umberella)?

THEY DO MEAN SOMETHING, JUST NOT TO THOSE WHO DONT RELATE TO IT. PEOPLE MAKE SONGS AND USE OTHER WORD TO DESCRIBE WHAT THEY FEEL. LIKE UMBREALLA. IN OTHER WORDS SHE LETTIN HER MAN KNOW SHE IS GONNA HOLD HIM DOWN, BLAH BLAH BLAH.

BUT SONG LIKE PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY, AND CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP, THERE ARE CLUB BANGERS, MEANING, YOU GO TO THE CLUB, AND WHEN THE SONG COME ON, U AND A WHOLE BUNCH OF OTHERS WILL JUST DO THE DANCE. YOU CANT SAY THEY SUCK WHEN BE RIGHT ALONG WITH THEM SHAKING YOUR AZZ. AND SINGING ALONG

Often times they have a good melody and the words are easy to remember--duke, duke, duke of earl-I shot the sheriff-and the latest hit-bubbly.

Because for some genres the music itself is more important than the lyrics

actually i like da song umbrella it was dedicated to me by s.o.s. n i also dedicated it to my bf aka my sista. but da chicken noodle soup n peanutbutter n jelly n the myspace song yea they suck big time. i say i can come up wit a song as well as long as it has a good beat n rhythem to it i guess it will sell........
