Can I listen to Radio in Work?

Is it ok to listen to radio at work? Not loudly, normal volume.

I suggest that you ask your supervisor about that or you may just ask around if the company allows that. Some do allow their staff to listen to the radio, so they'll get energized. But sadly, some do not allow their staff to listen to radio even if it will be at the lowest volume.
So ask your supervisor if you may listen to the radio and what's the highest volume allowed.
Why don't you try headphones or just buy those small mp3 players.

Yes. My boss said I could listen to the radio as long as the volume was kept at a reasonable level and it didn't bother anyone and it wasn't Spanish music, or punk rock, or rap, or gospel or anything with musical instruments.

It depends on your work environment. Ask your boss first if it's ok. Then ask your coworkers, especially the ones who work near you.

I listen to online radio at work, but I keep the volume just high enough that I can hear it, but the guy in the connecting cube can't.

what a silly question. you go to work to work. Actually you didn't say what the job is so lets start again. If you are in an office on your own and as long as you can concentrate then I'm sure it will be o.k. but if you are dealing with customers then absolutely a no no. i think that its ok to listen to the radio while you are at work as long as you keep it on the DL and turn it off when you leave
