Is it true about radio? |
that a number a years ago you needed a licence to own a radio? That's a UK - US thing. It might help if we identified what country we are from. In the US, the stations pick up the cost so no one has to pay a tax on their radios and TVs. In the UK they collect the tax from the individuals. I see some of the answers here are indicating that radio is no longer included, but TV is. So, I guess that's your answer. In the UK, yes you had to pay on your radio (at least at one tme). Yes this is true xxx You would need to have a citizen band license for a powerful Not in the USA. Radio receivers have always been free, and unlicenced to both own and operate here. I don't think so! I can't be sure though! I wasn't born then. lol |
