Why does my radio jump stations?

I listen to exclusivly Classical.. Everynow and then the station jumps to country and western or some other genre that I have no interest in... Why is this happening... I have only rated Classical albums, as that is what I want to hear...

yahoo my radio, is the program I am refering to... I have been rating only classical music, that then plays in yahoos my radio station... I have rated no other types of music.. So, all that should play there according to yahoo is the music that I have rated highly... But every now and then, it goes from my highly rated selections to a country western genre, that I have not selected to even be played in my radio station... I am hopping to find out why it will jump from my selections to a place I have not designated.. Yahoo is pitiful at having good contact with their users, to ask questions that are not in their FAQ list...

Yahoo will do that.

What it is, is if you have too narrow of a focus on the stations in artists, they will try new artists to see if you mind... But lately I've been finding they are also doing it with gendre of music if you have listened or tried to listen to another one of the stations (say someone else in the house with your log in listened to a country format will do this)

I've been listening to slacker.com (yes that's the name) which maybe a better source for staying on format.

and those can be customized also just like Yahoo

Not enough info my friend. What kind of radio? Internet, terrestrial, something else? What kind of receiver? In car, home stereo...

Need to know all that stuff before we can answer. Hit the edit button and be specific or re-post and delete this entry.
