Sirius Radio won't stop calling me!!!? |
They keep calling me up to ask if I want to extend me service and won't stop. I've called back and asked them several times to stop calling and was even added onto their "Do Not Call List". Today I got another call while I was sleeping (I work night shift) so I called them back to ask for a supervisor - they wouldn't let me speak to one. I'm getting tired of the calls. What do I do? Do I call a lawyer? When I deactivated my service, i got about 10 calls and it was driving me nuts. I talked to a supervisor and gave him a lot of crap about them calling me... he took me off the do not call list and ever since then they haven't called me. It was funny because at the end of the conversation she asked me how the weather was. Next time they call tell them that you are keeping a record of when they call you & if they don't stop, you will report them to the Better Business Bureau & the Attorney General of your state.( the consumer affairs office) You could. It's harassment. Try donotcall.gov On donotcall.gov there's a way to report them. That's about as much as you can really do. The government "do not call" list, does not cover this. Businesses that you already have a relationship are exempt from that list, such as your cable company, credit cards, insurance company, etc. It only prohibits calling to solicit new business. Non-profit groups and political calls are also exempt from the list. lol thats why i listen to z100. I wonder if you can log on to your acccount online and delete your phone number or put in a phony one. I don't think you need to take it that far. Just arrange a meeting with them and firmly tell them to stop. Tell them to remove your number from their calling list. Unplug or switch off your phone. If you can't do that then hassle them just as much as they hassle you. Go to the website, find the investor relations dept. or the media relations dept. Those are the two areas most big unattainable companies usually have real people. Call or email them. Tell them you are a subscriber and (potential) stockholder and ask them to look into a problem you're having... without being pompous, act as if you are accustomed to being treated better than this. They'll usually help. If they have the temerity to ask why you re calling them, rather than support or subscriber services, tell them, they're the only ones who actually answer their phones -and it's those other guys causing the problem. |
