no its the huge sale directly after thanksgiving. Its kind of turned into black weekend now. Its where idiots w/ nothing better to do get in line at 10p for a store tha opens at 4a to try to get their hands on sale items. What they apparently dont realize is the stuff in the ads that are marked at 75% off are in small supply, drawing in the crazed buyer not wanting to leave empty handed who will thus buy the regularly priced item. Usually there are a few casualties from being trampled or fighting over x-boxes every year. its insanity.

The expression is for the day after Thanksgiving when retailers go into the "black" (Profitibility) instead of the "red" (losing money).
