I want to get Sirius radio (espec. for the car) ...will it help me get LOCAL AM & FM too - like satellite TV? |
I'd like to be able to get better reception for my local AM stations (since I enjoy the non-hard right wing talk shows)... Any satellite radio will not help you get better receptions for the standard AM/FM stations. They come with a FM transmitter built in that "takes"over an empty station and transmit the signal on that station. For better reception on your standard channels check with best buy or circuit city about a antenae amplifier. no, not at all - its a totally seperate thing - not like satellite TV at all. |
