Looking for a song it may be a christmas song since that is the only time i hear it on the radio?

The song is about a guy who runs into an old girlfriend in a grocery store he buys a six pack they sit in the car on christmas eve and talk about things that have happened in their life. At the end of the song he walks away and the snow turns into either sleet or rain. Somebody please help it is really bothering me that i can't think of the name to this song
