As you can read I can keep going given the time frame. 1993, 94 & 95 were the best years lyrically for Rap based upon the number of talented artist out simutaneously. If you are new, start there or as early as 1988 and work your way forward. The new stuff is catchy club joints, but at the end of the day can you see yourself doing the Soulja Boy when your 65 years old? Point being, you can bob your head to Run DMC's Peter Piper from the grave.
