Buy or Sell: if you say "rap sucks"? |
either What's Good; Ant, most folk who say rap sucks only listen to pop radio stations that play sucka @ss rap, they don't know what artist "Paid in Full" or why "A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste." Most people who listen to rap don't even know why I'm "Slippin" and fallin and can't get up. The radio plays some and plays some other and rap get lost between brittany spears and justin timberlake pop lockin with 50 on a "Radio Version" of commercial crap. 99% of them fall under B b lol.......why do they even listen to it if it sucks so much man my whole issue with them wack *** fags is, why the **** would you take out the ******* time to get on this damn section and tell us you don't like hip hop? you taking time outta your ******* life to tell us some **** we couldn't give less of a **** about. They just makin an *** out theirselfs man, dont pay attention to that bull **** i don't have a problem with a few artists...but the mainstream talk about how fly and blingin they are in 1 song then the next is about how they're oppressed by society, then the next is about how tough you are...basically a rearrangement of the same 7 cuss words over and over...the WORST is R&B breaks in rap songs...R&B is neither i use to lisin to rap intell i found metal, all rap sounds the same to me anymore and thats why i dont like it. if they would add some different instruments to it it would be a lot better C. It does suck, not because I say so but because it does in fact suck. I do although see how it is so popular, it's because the so called (musicians) are a bunch of no-talent idiots and they are all looked up to by all of the other idiots who listen to the crap. Why idiots are like this, I haven't a clue. You hardly ever see any of them playing an instrument, most haven't got enough brains to play a radio. It's basically a text book case of "monkey see" - "monkey do". Actually I feel like rap has gotten worse since about late 90's. I was in high school when the Wu, Tribe Called Quest, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, were out. I hear almost nothing today that would top some of them (plus all fans know many others.) Rap doesn't suck, people make rap suck, so enjoy it, don't try to kill it. Emulate it, not distort it's meaning. Nowadays it's more commercialism than poetry from the streets like it was in the 80's. Before, rap used to make you think, used to make you look at the world around you, now everybody wants a grill and a platinum chain, those fuc.ker sucker MC's that don't know sh*t. I have not listen to rap on the radio ever since it became too comercialized. Before, you used to turn on the radio and a gansta cut used to bump all the time non stop. Now you have to wait for the old skool show which only last about an hour to actually hear some real hip hop. I blame the people who lost all meaning of the love for hip hop and it's meaning. You think KRS-One or Public Enemy rapped for fame or fortune? They rapped to be a voice to be heard from the ghetto the people ignored. Just look at it and think back where it went wrong and you'll agree. I agree. if rap is the only thing on the radio, i just turn it off Say what, Douche Bag? "Rap sucks" because rap sucks, and no qualifiers are needed to justify that clear observation. God Bless you. |
