Lil Wayne vs Alive Rappers?

this is for all the real hip hop/rap fans. Lil Wayne is the self-proclaimed best rapper alive but how can that be when we have people like Nas, KRS-One, Rakim, Common, and Jay Z living. what do you think?

I am not crazy about lil wayne since I heard the tape of him saying that if some one has beef with them on a song he will murder their whole family word for word ur mom,kids and new born so im going to give it to jay z because thats not cool

Lil Wayne is the best rapper that has long dreads....thats about it.

Jay-Z is on such a higher level than Lil Wayne its not funny. Like Lil Wayne be on the sidewalk while Jay-Z be on top of the empire state building.

I mean, Lil Wayne is ok, he's not bad, but to say he is the BEST rapper alive is not right.

he's overrated...he doesn't even come close to true rappers like Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Rakim, etc....

Lil' Wayne is a delusional kid..like a kid thats bad at sports , all the adults (Lil' waynes body guards) around him says he's good at it when they know he really sucks...

If you can name one CLASSIC cut that he has then maybe I'll think about putting him in that catergory.

knows lil wayne is a fad just like 50 cent and others people will be bored of him in a few years any way
