Does anyone else find rap music annoying??

Okay I know you probably think I'm an old white person or something but I'm not! I find rap music SO degrading!

I think some rap music is ok, but a majority is awful and by the way I can't stand country music or rock music YUCK!

Sigh...another person looking down upon a whole genre because of the crap she hears on the radio.

Hater.... I only find rap annoying if the song is annoying, like Cyclone, but soulja boy is okay then annoying some times...

Sometimes... It has no melody or anything so I don't consider it music. If you think you are old and white you are wrong. I don't like it and I'm in 8th grade. I'm not alone either. My friends don't really like it either.

I must say I find television very educational. The minute somebody turns it on, I go to the library and read a good book.

hehe! i kind of do too, but still enjoy some old school stuff (which, by the way, is probably the MOST degrading...)... when gangsta rap first came on the scene, it was a lot different than it is today. they were rapping about their lives and what it was REALLY like for them. a lot of rappers out now came from upper-middle class suburbia and try to rap about what it's like in "the ghetto"... makes me laugh a little...
i also can't stand the improper grammar that's used CONSTANTLY!!!!!!!! words like "aint", "dat", "witchu", thur"... THAT'S what really bothers me... a tribe called quest, brand nubian, mos def, common (although his new song kinds sucks...), nas and even kanye west seem a little smarter than the average rapper-bear...

No I don't but I find you annoying. And if you find Rap music degrading then your obvioulsy listening to the wrong kind.

Depends on what the song is, I think it's O.K. but when a song like Crank That comes on...I want to rip my hair out cause' it's sooo annoying when everybody is like "!!!! SOULJA BOY!!!" ugh... i think most people would know what I mean by now

People that is closed minded and don't understand that art form sometimes can take what rappers are saying to heart. Maybe you feel that what the are saying applies to you!!!

i have to listen to it every other day. that's the only thing that i find annoying. i like alot of the older rap songs.

I find some of it annoying but cant say I hate it. Its just not my favorite. Of course, I feel the same way about country western so I'm not just picking on rap.

Ok why are generalizing the whole thing? there are some songs like Crank dat Soulja Boy and A Bay Bay that I find annoying. I think that techno and rock music is annoying

Depends.... Some rap songs are actually good ( usually R&B and hip hop). But if it's hard core rap, I think it's a bit too like monotone and I don;t like rap unless there's a beat you can dance to.

I hate Rap music that doesn't have anything to say. You know like the one's that are just talking about "look at my hoe's ***" or "look at my 22's" "look at my jewels" etc. etc. I like rap that can be by any artists...as long as it is talking about something of substance. I am so tired of all these rappers talking about the same thing and 80% of the videos look the same!!!

It is not only annoying, it is XTREAMLY disgusting. I had to hear it all day every day for more then a year. Its all about drugs, rape, and cop killing. It all should be outlawed.
