"Sweetest Girl" Question?

Okay you know that song by Wyclef, Akon, and Lil' Wayne?

My friend and I are in an argument. I say that it's implied that the girl they're talking about had sex with the pastor (he must be corrupt) due to the last few lines of Wayne's solo.

My friends are like noooo, he's not trying to say that.

What do you think?

Yeah but Weezy says "Then she asks him...where my money at?" Why would she be asking the pastor that if she didnt mess with him?

I think that after the pastor told her "there would be a new chapter" she didn't feel any different and her life didn't change. so she wanted a "refund" because his words were useless. i never actually thought about them having sex though. it's an interesting theory though.

maybe he didn't actually mean money.

No she dosn't she runs to him help but what he says dose nothin for her so she feels the same way like CRAP. but she dosen't do the pastor.

In the chorus, Akon sings, "See I'mma tell you, like Wu told me, Cash rules everything, around me." The 'Wu' is a reference to the Wu Tang Clan, who produced a song called "C.R.E.A.M." (Cash Rules Everything Around Me) in the mid-90s. The chorus of that song is similar, stating what CREAM stands for, and featuring the same "Dolla, dolla bill, ya'll" chant as in "Sweetest Girl." In the song "Notorious Thugs" by The Notorious B.I.G. and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Biggie was the first to tribute Wu Tang's track, saying, "I'mma tell you like a ***** told me, cash rules everything around me.

The music video is mainly set in a refugee camp. At the beginning of the video, Wyclef Jean is given the mission to prevent the video's lead female from being deported back to her home country, which is said to be hostile. Akon and Lil' Wayne are also featured as they also seemingly are waiting for possible deportation. After a short wait, the lead female is informed that she will be deported. Soon after, you see her set the camp on fire and Wyclef, in an effort to reach her, takes out a guard and succeeds in rescuing the lead female. Both leap off camera as the camp erupts in flame.

wow

She's a stripper and she's running to the pastor for help.

i have no clue
good argument tho
