Why is it people hate Benzino?

It may be because he's half white like me, or it might be because he's from Massachusetts like me, but I don't hate him.
Besides saying he sucks (which many of you will say) or that he's a racist (Ice Cube and Common were too at one point), is there any other reason to hate him?

I think people were taking this beef too seriously.

I think most people dislike him because he literally ruined Source Magazine.......he used his power with the magazine to give his group "made men" 4.5 mics (which it prolly only deserved 2 at the most) and giving a lil kim album 5 mics (totally underserving......he skewd the whole mic rating system and totally ruined the magazines credibilty......on top of that, he swindled all kinds of money and employees of source magazine's paychecks started bouncing.

He's just not very good.

He exploited anything and everything he had to discredit eminem for being white. He had fired anyone who had disobeyed him by writing about eminem in positive light, and really, he just sucks when it comes to rapping. There's nothing different of him to the next rapper that's out right now. He's not joe buddens...

Everyone wants to be like eminem, he even made a song about it.

I have rarely heard of benzino but f&%# the mother f&$#er. The only potential he has is a dck in the bm.

Because he's wack....his lyrics and his "look"

The only reason he's in the rap scene is because of the source mag.

No rapper respects him. Period.

Locust's right about what he did to The Source. I also don't like him because I just don't see him as having any real lyrical skills, and his flow's pretty mediocre.
It's got nothing to do with Eminem not liking him - in fact, when those racist mixtapes surfaced, I thought that should have ruined Em's career, but part of the reason it didn't was because of how badly Benzino handled the situation. When you've got a well respected white rapper caught making seriously racist remarks about black women on tape, and it's the guy who caught him that comes off looking worse, there's something very wrong there.
So really, although I don't think he's talented musically, it's more the fact that I just don't like the way he carries himself as a person.
But if you're liking his music, then carry on enjoying it.

aside from his yellow appearance on television. he can't rap. it has nothing to due the him being mixed. in order to sale records now-a-days you need a GIMMICK: like street cred, looks, nice body, TALENT, family connects, catchy nickname(s), gang affiliations and money if you don't have any of what i listed above.

well one, he f**** up the source, i used to love that mag but he threw all the credibility away

and two, he sucks. sounds average and his metaphors and content is really uncreative and hes really arrogant about his lack of talent

and cmon, eminem murdered him so actually i just pity him now, he's just pathetic
