Folks are constantly looking for a new sound. But I have this notion that hip hop beats will eventually turn into slowed down techno or something like that. Basically, very uptempo. We've been seeing it lately. Kanye West - "Stronger",Timbaland - "The Way I are", Rihanna - "Please Don't Stop the Music", and even Snoop is getting into it? What are your predictions of how future hits are gonna sound like? I think for most artist they want a club hit and when u have a club hit u have a song on the radio when you have a song on the radio you have fame. it you listen to most of their albums they still got their hip hop flavor to it. but that single that is out right now is going to be a radio hit so people can buy the album.
Kanye West- most of his album is hip hop and he truth.
Timbaland- he is such a good producer that he can put anything together.
Rihanna- most of her songs are R&B and slow so she does need a little dance hit on it.
I also think that this is a great way for an artist to expand and show that they can do more then just hip hop, or rock, or R&B, etc.
