Women in Hip-hop?

I notice that a lot of mature women are into that real hip-hop music.It's mostly black and latina women.Am I the only one who notice that?It works good with me cause i like hip-hop and love me some women.Lol

Yes I can see your views, although I disagree a bit with Nikki. See it just proves this questions point. You say you listen to it or sorry correction on my half, they "we" speaking about females listen to it because its uptempo? Naw sorry I don't like any Hip Hop that is like "dance". If I wanted that I would listen to Pop or Hip Pop. Females are listening more and more to Hip Hop now a days because of the words that are involved. I have been listening to the same artist since they came out. I am 30yrs old and live and breath hip hop. The knowledge, the essence, the culture is what moves me....music for my soul

It's because there's a fresh breath of air coming out into the hiphop scene. People such as Lupe, Kanye, Sky-zoo and Talib.
It's going from degrading women to respecting them.

I think u'll notice it more depending on the area that you're in. I'm a white female, and all I listen to is Hip-Hop, R&B & Gospel...

I think more & more women r listening 2 Hip-Hop because the music is getting good. There are a lot of songs that is up-tempo'd, and it just puts us into a dancing mind-frame.

I dont' know about anybody else, and I can't SPEAK for anybody else, but I know that music is an escape for me. I listen 2 it when i'm trying 2 get away. Period.
