Tupac overrated as a MC.?

I mean dont get me wrong hes very good and hes one of my favs.

But as a MC Think about it.

Rakim,KRS-One,Big Daddy Kane,Kool G Rap,Biggie,Big L,Big Pun,Chuck D,Eminem. Were all better them him as a MC [Not rapper].

He deff belongs in the top 10. But I dont think he deserves the title number 1 as Deep as his lyrics is what got him that far He's good but hes not the best what do you guys say.

Lol yeah Jay-Z is without a doubt the most overrated rapper.

No Nas is not overrated.

Eazy-E Not sure he was pretty good.

Tupac is one of the best rappers in my opinon but I mean as a MC nah. He's not up there with Pun L Biggie.

I've always thought Tupac was very overrated. I wouldn't even put him in the top 10. His rhymes were nothing special, and he switched personas depending on who he was trying to sell records to. And I think his albums seemed to consist mostly of filler.
He deserves credit for touching so many people's lives the way he has, but personally, I just don't get it with him.

They only respect you when you dead not alive i guess. He's pretty good,but a little overated...but still good. but the best rapper ever is quadrotie MF doom-Raekwon The Chef,Ghost Face Killah,and Madlib as Quasimoto imo.

Yea he's over rated. I think that if he hadn't died the way he had so many people wouldn't like him as much. And he's good and all but I don't see what exactly makes him that great.

Yeah he was overrated! being an MC is limiting,he was more than that,he had Depth and Insight,and was just starting to turn that corner with his Talents..and not with some bulls#it clothing line,or collabos with every Tom Dick and Wayne..

Definitely overrated. And I would say Nas is slightly overrated too considering the only great album he's made was Illmatic. Everything else had a few stand-out tracks and that's it.

Man. I'm tired of people saying this shi*t. Let me put it like this...when a author writes a book..it doesn't matter how many big words he uses..or how long the book is. It matters about the content, and overall Tupac had the most content in his raps. We all know he's not the most lyrical, and he never mentioned he was. Dude said he's the realest rapper ever, and he is. Eminem better then pac? Nah, man. Eminem consistency is not even close to Pac's. The other emcees you named are good, but do they even have enough content as Pac? Yea..they're lyrical as fuc*k..but how many of them actually made songs up there with Pac? People tend to think lyricism is all that makes an emcee. I wouldn't place Tupac as #1, but his definitely in the top 3.
