What was the last song that made you love Hip-Hop again?

Mine was a throw back..."Mad-Izm" Channel Live ft. KRS-ONE.
I grew up on that song, and recently heard it spun at my last show.

Big Ed, i mean *real* Hip-Hop, not that "radio" crap

I kinda touned down on rap but then I really started listening to NaS's Cd's Illmatic Stillmatic.

Then im like "I've been missing this?" "I had this 4 4 months and Didnt even listen to 1 song"

now im more intrested in rap then ever I just gave up on Hip Hop about right after The Re-Up was out.

Now im back and I LOVE IT.

And I expanded myself to new artist like other legends.

My Old top 10 used to be.

1.2pac [favs not best]
2.Biggie
3.Eminem
4.Eazy-E
5.Dr.Dre
6.Snoop Dogg
7.50 cent
8.Ice cube
9.Game
10.N.W.A

Now My Top 10 is [These are my favs not best]

Probably Kanye's Flashing Lights.

Next would be his Everything I Am.

"Superstar" and "Dumb it Down" by Lupe are pretty sick tracks.

However, I still find myself buggin out whenever I hear this song:

I found my old Nas cd. I always loved his songs.

I also agree with agie and the kanye west songs

hip is dead was a great track from nas........ that whole genre just pisses me off cuz it used to be meaningful music.... not "i got my drink and my 2 step"..... or aaay bay bay......... dumbed down music

Nas One Mic, heard it the other day and almost forgot about all this crap they play on the radio. And whatever happened to the feuds that made rappers write songs from the heart. Like hit em up from pac or ether from Nas? thats when hip hop was real. and yes im white.
