But nerds are usually obsessed with more important things, such as their studies or video games to care for music.

Whatever suits them. people shouldnt be classified under stereotypes. i dont have to be a gangsta to listen to hip-hop or a nerd to listen to classical. i wouldnt consider myself a nerd necessarily even though i'm into my books and studies but i listen to whatever that makes me feel good and sounds good to my ears.
