As mainstream rap/hip hop evolves, is underground rap/hh increasing?

Mainstream is getting to a peak...its gonna bust soon and hopefully we will go back to the days when hip hop was balanced...The underground increasing...No its not increasing its just that as plentiful as mainstream...I think that ppl are seeking more underground artist because they are tired of the redundancy of the stuff that pop. right now.

I think it's already flooded, but depending on where you're from, you'd have different artists that you hear in the underground.

its increasing because the whole system is getting out of wack before it was you were underground got a deal and you went mainstream now alot of these underground cats dont sell so they stay underground and now its getting flooded wit people

mainstream rap where u make the most money and more fame, but the underground stuff will give u street credit if u care about thet

I think so. Every big movement always has a backlash, and the underground right now is the backlash to a lot of the bad stuff that's going on in the mainstream. So in a twisted way, we can actually thank Soulja Boy for making more people angry enough to create some quality music!
