Who is this "shorty" person I hear about in rap songs?

I think they're still called rap songs

It's just like an attractive girl....and its also pronounced "shawty".

Goofy name rappers use to mean girl. I say girl because no self respecting woman would allow herself to be called "shorty". I like rap music but I must admit some of it is pretty stupid. But no more or less then any other form of music I suppose.

Late 80s early 90s rap is the only rap that means anything.

Shawty means a girl a pretty girl. The guys don't know there names so they cal them shawty to get there attention...... been called mas times

actually shawty can mean guy or a girl...not just a sexy girl any girl can be called a shawty..they use it mostly in ATL...they even call guys shawty!!! look it up in the urban dictionary
