Whose a better rapper Jay-Z or Method Man?

Method Man is my pick b/c he can rap like to any beat and has a more better voice to me that is more thugish then jay-z who seem like just talking loud with some lines I heard before so i like method man better no doubt so whose yah pick?

I would hate to say it, but Meth ain't no where near jay'S lyrical level. That is like how they talked about mj and what he meant to basketball, (not to say there aren't raw rappers besides jay,m but at the moment this is how it looks) THERE'S MJ, AND THEN THERE IS THE REST OF THEM...........

method man even though he isn't as popular as jay-z all of his rap is his own jay-z has bitten off of others.

his swagger is better on tracks. method has good character and phenomenal lyrics but he doesn't quite stand out on tracks like Jay does. like even if the verse wasn't all that great. his presence is felt on the track regardless. don't know too many rappers that got a swag like that.

Jay Z hands down. He can freestyle too. I remember him doing so at a concert with Jazzy Jeff back in the day (I think it is on youtube). Jay has more flow and better rhymes.
Meth is da man though but he's not even the best rapper to come out of Wu-Tang.
