Why deosn't the real world have anymore Black or Hispanic people on there any more?

They really put any Black or hispanic girls in the house. And maybe a Asian every 5 years....Kudos to shows like ANTM who have great diveristy

All they do is put "hot" (Most of people are ugly, but they think they are hot. Like Dunbar, Ashli) white people on there and all they do is get pissy drunk and fight and complain. They don't even deal with real issues anymore........Plus there aren't even really any gay people???????

Oh my god, I was thinking the same thing when this season started airing! Your right there are hardly ever any black women on the show and when there are their lighter skinned and the guys are really dark. I think that it just reinforces the western worlds idea of beauty. I use to applaud MTV for being so diverse in their shows but now...Does anyone remember the season with Pedro or Heather ? I think that was the point of the show, now it's to the point where it's pointless.

I think it's purely for ratings, that's all networks care about now.
As long as their ratings go up, they couldn't give a crap about what they air.

I don't know a single black or hispanic girl that would be willing to go on that crap show. Do you? You have to volunteer to participate in the real world.

yeah life is made up of all colors and all different faiths, beliefs, and cultures. diversity helps us grow as people. the more minorities the better! rock on sistah, rock on! :O)

It definately made it a more interesting show when there were different races, cultures, sexuality differences. Now, all they do is get drunk and screw or fight and get kicked off! I'm not even gonna watch it anymore.

Part of the reason on why they cast different types of people now (compare season 1 where everyone were mostly adults, down to earth personalities,even hung out with friends outside of the house ) to now, one of the founders of BMP passed away a few years ago...Real World wasnt the most diverse show but its definitely worse than what it used to be as far as casting people. Now everyone wants to get drunk have sex with each other...

I thought it was very interesting to someone of Musilum background come onto the show this year, since they never have done that..especially after 9/11. But like I said, because of poor casting...
