X factor, song list, is anyone else disappointed? Wheres the huge grand finale songs?

its been a disappointing year for the xfactor,i think it could be the last one.

They left all the talent behind this year ...and went for the sympathy vote instead. Its a load of rubbish!
Really enjoyed it last year so its a big disappointment.

The X Factor has turned in to a farce. I don't know anyone who likes then stupid twins and they do not have a real singin talent like in previous years.

It is Simon Cowells show after all and of course his act had to be in the bottom 3!!!

Farce, Boring, fixed, I wont be watching anymore.

The song choices have been revealed for this year's X Factor final! This week there's a Christmas theme to one of the choices, plus the contestants get to pick their favourite from the series so far. So, what have we got?

Well, Same Difference are singing Mariah's classic All I Want For Christmas Is You and Breaking Free from High School Musical. Their festive choice is an incredibly popular song (it's back in the Top 10 at the moment) and the energetic feel will suit their style. The HSM song was a big success for them earlier in the series and, as we know they are very popular with younger viewers, this is a very clever choice. The pair will also duet with Jason Donovan on Any Dream Will Do. Another very popular track - let's just hope they ditch the kiddies with the fake candles this time around! Vomit!

Meanwhile, Leon is singing White Christmas and You Don't Know Me. White Christmas is the most successful Christmas song of all time and it will definitely suit Leon's crooning style, while You Don't Know Me won the judges over several weeks ago and helped him secure his place in the competition. He's also performing a duet of Better The Devil You Know with Kylie Minogue - this will be the swing version of the track first performed on An Audience With Kylie. Singing with such a big star is likely to get Leon some extra votes.

Finally, Rhydian will be belting out the Christmas classic O Holy Night - this song will suit his voice perfectly and there won't be a dry eye in the house. Expect a standing ovation if he pulls that one off. His own choice of track is Somewhere - again this was very popular with the judges when he first performed it on the show. Our personal Rhydian highlight of the series was his version of You Raise Me Up and he'll be performing this on the final with Katherine Jenkins. It had the audience and the judges on their feet last time, will it do the same again?

So, there you have it. Leon's choices are very safe - perhaps a little too safe for an X Factor final? We think this final is between Rhydian and Same Difference and it may be closer than people think. They're both such different acts and both have such different fanbases that it will be a case of fastest fingers first with viewers on the phonelines. We can't wait for this one!

What an utter mish mash..

Going by the songs I will go for Leon, although Rhydian singing Holy Night will be good.

Kylie n Jason singing okay..but Katherine Jenkins causes me a problem. She has a beautiful singing voice, but it leaves me cold. Theres something about her tone that makes me cringe.

This year's X Factor just hasn't been the same..if I miss the final..it wouldn't really bother me. I'm usually addicted to it. I didn't even bother to check what the finalists were singing this year so thanks for posting.

It is a bit disappointing ...................... I thought SD was singing All I Want for Christmas is my 2 Front Teeth lol !!

Not disappointed in Rhydian's songs Leon is in for the kill and Same Diffrence more much than pea soup lol

I don't think X factors being as good this year can't say I'm as bothered as I am for SCD finals.

Rhydian Will do well, Leon should do well, and Same Difference should go down a well and never be seen again!!

I'm bored already

I wasn't gonna be watching the final, and with those song choices I really wasn't bothered. However, mum wants to see it to see if Simon is gonna fix if for the scary two to win as they really don't have a hope of winning if it goes to the vote.

Im gutted to say I wont be watching final...Im off to see Kaiser Chiefs at Earls Court...will leave it in Clives capable hands...he hates live gigs!!!!!!....probably coz they can sing better than him...dont tell him I said that Gartom...lol

Well the whole series has been a disappointment hasn't is so at least the final is following to form! Not disappointed as I won't be watching it due to a pre Christmas get together with my family. Might just watch the repeat on Sunday though!!

I'm really disappointed with the songs. Personally I was hoping Rhydian would sing Phantom of the Opera again (That was my favourie song of the series!) but it's their choice.

"o holy night " will be awesome sung by the ridster , couldn't give two hoots for leons songs same old same old , as for sd "breaking free" well i am just pmsl @ that one , the kids that will be watching are so going to love that ,what a clever guy simon is lol

i like Rydians choice and i can't wait to see what song he's doing with Catherine Jenkins..i think this will blow the roof off coz she is an amazing singer and the two together will ROCK....i really wanted him to sing (you raised me up) he did an awesome job and i actually cried watching him, that has not happened in a long time...

Leon will do really well because those songs are in his comfort zone, he likes that kind of music....just wondering about him and Kylie...i reckon they will do (kids) like she did with Robbie...it will be good...but not good enough to win...Kylie may be a big massive star but this is about Leon, not her...so if he wins purely because of Kylie then it's a fix....

SD...hmmmm..oooh....errrrr...god, i have no clue.....all i'm thinking is..... are they are gonna do Joseph (any dream will do) with Donovan...if so....my DVD player will be flipping right past their act because i really can't bare to watch them...lovely people, but cringeworthy....
