ANTM fans-so, did this season ruin it for you?

I know that reality shows are not always the most fair. But this season of ANTM has me crying "foul"!!!

I am truly at the point where I would rather not support a show that is supposed to be a contest but is so obviously tilted towards the favor of one.
What do you think???

What I mean is this...
I have watched every season & while there were many times I wanted someone else to win, I never felt (until now) that the contest was potentially rigged or that the winner was decided before the contest started.

well i posted a similar question the other day i think the whole show this yr had Tyra biased towards Saleisha because they had a previous relationship and Saleisha had previous modelling experience and you are supposed to have none when you go into that competition. Chantal would have made a much better model for sure.
No offense to anyone here but people like Tyra and Oprah will do anything to make sure the black people are discovered more so than the whites and yet who is helping the other races.
I won't watch this show again as i am very disappointed in the whole outcome.

i'm not exactly sure what you are speaking of but i did watch every episode this season and i do think the wrong person won.

i did and didnt ruin it for me i will still watch the show but when the one i want to win is in the final 2 and they dont win that really sucks for me.

Wow. That's terrible. I thought that they kept Saleisha around because Nigel thought she was hot. (I've noticed that in the past, every girl Nigel likes stays.) They vaguely mention in the show that she had some prior experience, but made it sound like she modeled for some small-town local catalog - not national TV and with Tyra to boot!

They did pick some very beautiful girls in the past, such as Eva and Naima, and if you look back at all the seasons they did pick other nationalities as well. It's not really the race thing for me, I just think Chantal should have won because she is really gorgeous. I think it's when an African-American girl wins, it's really obvious. I thought they were being partial too (Tyra and the judges) but looking back the winners are pretty diversified.

Also, Saleisha's hairstyle reminded me of the Siamese twins on Eddie Murphy's movie, "Coming to America": "This is the first date Therese and I have been on...since the doctors separated us!"

This is my opinion.

I wanted Jenah to win! but she fell apart at the end.

And sometimes I do think that it leans towards race when Danielle won over Jonie. Jonie was my favorite girl of all time.

And I actually haven't thought about how Salieshas win might have been known from the start but now when I think about it, she did not have the greatest pictures and she had a lot of expirience.

I hated her hair!

The only negative thing i have to say about Saleisha is that i hated her hair,In other words the best woman won,And if you are going to freeze up on the runway,then yeah its a wrap,any body can take good pics.

in series 3 i wanted amanda to win, in four i wanted kahlen, in six i wanted joanie, and in 8 i wanted renee ... grrrrr i'm always wrong =(

I was upset when Mercedes (from another season) didn't win. I think that chic who married the Brady Bunch guy won that year.

You know it really bothers me that everyone is making such a big deal because Saleisha won!!! Honestly, I dont think that Saleisha being in Tyra's T-Zone camp had anything to do with her winning!! Saleisha was very consistent throughout the show. Heather should not have won! I know that there were several people rooting for her, but lets be serious, Heather wouldnt been able to make it 1 day in that gruesome industry. Jenah, just had that I-dont-care attitude. They gave her ample amount of warnings, but it still didnt change. So it was down to Saleisha and Chantal. Did you see the runway show? OMG, Saleisha killed it! Chantal was horrible in that show!! Her walk was pathetic and she looked terrified! It was clear who the winner was after that runway show! Just because Saleisha had a little of modeling experience doesnt mean that she didnt deserve to win! She has worked at that her whole life and this was her dream, probably more than anyone else!!! I think that its very unfair to Saleisha to deny her of a win that she rightfully earned, just because she was misjudged!!!
