Survivor: Crying Because They Miss Their Families?

I think this is really dumb, & annoys me. Some of you might think it is sad and sweet that the contestants cry because they miss their families when they are competing on Survivor, but I think it is stupid.

You have to really push to be a contestant on Survivor, it is 100% their own choice, and if they can't stand to be away from their families for 6 weeks, they shouldn't go on the show.

Does it annoy you too, or do you feel sorry for them?

I agree..it is extremely annoying. Someone is playing for a million dollars and crying because they haven't seen their family in 6 weeks. I'm sure they thought of the consequences of being on the show...Hell, it's only 6 weeks..I would think of it as a vacation from reality.

It's annoying. They must rewatch the shows and be like so embarrassed.

I don't care how hard you push to become a contestant on Survivor, but the facts are that it is a hard game. You are hungry, cold, wet, and stuck in some remote location with a bunch of strangers--most of whom you wouldn't even want to know in your life back home. There are no diversions--no TV, radio or mp3 player to distract you, no word from your friends for support. You have no idea if you will make the next tribal council--and everyone wants that big prize. By the time the families show up it is usually a month into the game--try isolating yourself from everyone for a month without feeling some sort of emotional ties.

lack of nothing to do, terrible food and being around people that annoy you will make you really miss your family. But maybe if someone as annoying as you was in my family i wouldnt miss them. :P
