Dr BAd - Rhydian should have won but I think in the long run his career will be better off for not winning it.

The biggest shock of the night was the state of Kylie - it's quite sad - the woman is now 40, she looked a complete mess, drawn and sluggish - she needs a new wardrobe for starters.

what are you talkin about?... the kid is 17. JUST A LITTLE BOY.... .. a natural performer....AND the only one out of the three acts with NO gimic ..... his final song.. (the single) was an amazin fricken vocal....... give the kid a break...... Rhydian is good...... very good..... but he is a musical and theatrical star not a pop performer

Can't agree this time Doc, both Leon and Rhydian were deserving of the title, however, I'm glad that my wee scots boy one, it's about time we won something. I wouldn't have been disappointed if Rhydian had won though, both were great singers in their own styles.

I didn't really follow x factor but I saw Rhydian a few times and was very impressed, I think he will still do very well despite not being the official winner. Same Difference are entertaining in a weird sort of way but to be honest, watching them makes me think: 'cheesy kids TV show presenters'

Edit: And Leon didn't really strike me in any way from what I saw, not that he was bad he just didn't stand out to me

Well, it was the show's producers who decided to do the Scotland, Wales, England thing!!!!!!

Mysticmaiden complains about the Scottish vote, but if all the English had voted for SD wouldn't that have been even more ridiculous???????? That was nonsense anyway - I'm Scottish, and I voted for Rhydian, because he was the best, not because of his nationality!!!!!

I voted for Rhydian-I truly believed he deserved it..and now look what has happened,how could this be?I mean he just had the whol 'X Factor' Iam sorry but for me Leon is missing something.

Second is the new first and to be honest Rhydian use up contract and then onwards and upwards WITHOUT red tape.

Doc I'm Scottish and i didn't vote for anyone - can't you even just for a sec think Leon raised his game in the end...

I actually wanted Rhydian to win - he is fantastic in every way - he will have the best career, even although he didn't win the competition.

Right firstly I will say I'm please for Leon he's a nice guy, I also feel very sorry for him because he will have one hit and then disappear without a trace!
He was just not good enough to win especially when you compare him to previous winners.

The problem is too many youngsters have access to phones or Trolls which ever way you want to look at it!

At least we know he wont last long...think i have nearly forgotton him already
