Taylor tick man Hicks won but Chris fab Daughtry booted off they get it there too good ones out.

to be honest doc i think he's probs gutted that leon won , he didn't have a good word to say about him the whole series , i don't know how he won , one good thing about a idol the british public can't vote so thats a good thing right !!!

I know....well actually having said that the only won I've heard of is Kelly Clarkson and she has only ever had one number 1 in the US. and her latest album had 4 singles released although only one made the hot 100. (the other one released 110 and the other 2 totally failed to chart) so are any of them successes??

Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks did well,and so has Elliot Yamin, Blake Lewis and Kataharine McPhee,but I don't think the last 3 won.Compare Leon to them...big difference

What I don't get it out of alllllllllllllllllllllllll the thousands and thousands of people who audition for x factor (a lot of which are quite good) they pick 12 acts, and seeing the acts they had this year just makes you think...these could not have been the best of them? It just confuses me.

Plus after Leona Lewis, it's just so clear now how rubbish everyone else is lol.

But in terms of the show, the way they lay it out etc, i prefer x factor to american idol.

Both shows have a great following but no-one is ever going to be a lasting start nowadays because the public are very fickle & are always looking for the next new thing.
