Simon Cowell's face when Kylie was singing? Embarrassment for her?

I'm sure there wasn't only Simon that sat with a look of pure embarrassment on his face last night when Kylie proved to be talentless. She looked cheap and totally out of place next to the likes of Katherine Jenkins. Why the hell was she wearing an outfit like that, it made my stomach turn. I've always thought that she was talentless but made her name by revealing her a*se in her videos, but alas, that seems to now have expanded to the point where she would have done herself far more justice by wearing a gorgeous evening gown (and maybe even miming!!) What do you think. I was embarrassed watching her and sat cringing.

I am neither jealous or boring but i have eyes and ears!! Her outfit was hideous and i agree women look far better with curves but with her new curves she could have looked fabulous, not cheap. But she still can't sing no matter what she was wearing.
My heart went out to her when she was ill but it doesn't alter the fact that she looked and sounded terrible.

looked like she had forgotten to wear her skirt !! came out in knickers and stockings.... and her wig !! oh my god, her short hair looks fab, why did she have that atrocious wig on?

I agree, she is approaching 40 and shouldnt be wearing things like that now..also she has just got over cancer and i think she has enough money to not parade herself half naked on TV with boys half her age, give it up Kylie your a good person who dosnt have to do these things anymore.

I think you're reaction is totally over the top...all the papers today are calling her a "sex kitten" and saying how she suits her new curves....as for Katherine Kenkins...she's 24 years old and was wearing the gown of a 45 year old! She looked matronly when she should have looked like a princess...Kylie is gorgeous and is only just recovered from her illness.

Bowl of milk anyone? I thought she was awesome especially considering she has only just beaten cancer. Cowell is just a showman with expressions to suit the camera!

Its funny but i thought it was just me who thought that she has little talent, look at footage of her when she first started out singing, wispy little voice, and not much has changed.

She sounded squeeky and not world class,,,

She's got the figure but still looked unco-odrinated? She's in the entertainment business but does nothing for me?

I don't like Kylie but she does have some talent and Why are you complaining what Kylie wears etc when Madonna does the same?

I agree that what she was wearing was terrible but i cant understand what you are on about when talking about her curves! The only reason she appeared to have curves was that her waist was pulled in so much with the corset making the rest appear bigger.

Maybe it was because it showed up how amateurish Leon is? I thought Kylie was ok, and looked hot, but Leon can't hold a note or dance!

I agree with every word you said i couldn't believe what she was wearing. There was a question on here last night 'do you think Kylie helped Leon win the X Factor? erm no she didn't.

I don't dislike Kylie but I agree totally with you she doesn't have any more talent than most of the applicants for x factor.
I think her bottom shape and somehow being a gay icon has enhanced her fame

Kylie has always performed wearing next to nothing and i have to admit i was not expecting that outfit on a family show (my teenage son was glued to the television) but she looked good ...

It is her image to wear stage clothes and do her things

Katherine jenkins is different and yes she looked stunning

Kylie is a pop star and wearing a ball gown would not sell records and she was promoting her new single

unfortunately i missed last nights final...i am so glad that i did because i was hoping that Rhydian won...but i would be interested to see what get up she had on...by the way you describe it, it sounds like she was dressed like a hooker...i may watch the repeat later on....

I agree. I didn't see Simon's face but her outfit was embarrassing mainly because the audience's prime viewers are children and it's a family show. It looked like she had forgotten to put her skirt on or something.

I have no issue with her figure because she's been through so much these past two years, but parading her body around like she used to just doesn't have the same appeal as it used to. Since her public battle with cancer, I think people don't see are as the sex symbol they did in the past.

The whole act just seemed a little desperate. I think rather than trying to get back to where she was pre-cancer, she should carve a new image for herself. Something wholesome and forget the 'harlot' look. It doesn't work.

Why couldn't she just wear something sexy-classy? Why did it have to be cheap and nasty looking?

As for her lack of talent - again I agree. She dances around and shouts 'how are you feeling tonight?' to kind of divert people's attention from her voice. I dunno - people like her and that's fine, but it was all a very poor display in my opinion.

I thought the 1st time she sang with Leon she was a bit of a strange shape - looked almost like an egg timer. Hmmm.

Yes the outfit was tacky to say the least, and as someone else pointed out, with her curves she should have worn something more becoming for her age, as for her singing I have never liked it, also I find it very hard to stomach Danni as well. I much prefer Sharon.
