good except they let public decide who wins. I don't know who this public bloke is but if i ever meet him i'm gonna kick him in the balls, he's got the worst taste in practically everything and always picks the wrong person

well they are good but the public seem to vote for the underdogs , not particularly the most talented ,either !!!

TV shows are designed to sell advertising, period.

It is a very clever way to exploit people's hopes and dreams. yes new talent is discovered, but people like Simon Cowell and that other Irish fella are modern day Fagan's.

If they were genuinely voted on JUST by the public then fine but what's with all this 'expert' panel stuff? They're on every show carping on and giving the show a nasty backbiting feel. Just let the performers on and let the public vote without anybody else's opinions.

They are as good as the talent they discover.

i think if they were realy looking for talent they would 'score' them like SCD do, and then add public vote percentage to the judges score.... because the british voting public sure have crap taste.... ! LEON was rubbish how did he ever win !

although i'd like SCD to have more transperancy like 52% of the votes to this couple kind of a thing... its all 'in no particular order' and that rubbish which makes me lose faith

the public vote for who/s got the best booty or craggy face not what they are doing.

i guess as talent in the real world is getting scarce

all i can say is that there's probably a pretty good reason why these people haven't already been discovered. they're bloody awful!!
