Did G4 get as much grief as rhydian ?

they were operatic too , can't remember them getting as many negative comments either ? or is the show more based on looks now!!! and no i'm not going to let it go lol!!!

G4 didn't win either - again - they probably would if they'd been in a show like 'Britain's got Talent' rather than 'X-Factor where they are looking for singers who will flood the charts

G4 didn't look like an evil albino hand puppet, so maybe looks do have something to do with it.

I seem to remember that G4 did get quite a bit of grief, not just because they were operatic but because they were a group! I personally didn't like G4, because in my opinion they crucified Queen songs and tried to sing pop songs in opera which just doesn't work! Rhydian however, did try and change his singing a bit, he didn't sing everything in operatic tone. He will do better than G4 as there is more call for a single singer in West End than a group I think!

Oh and by the way, I am not biased, I dont think that Rhydian has any better looks than G4.

Rhydian's vote was fixed too, hundreds of thousands trying to vote for him couldn't get through in time as the line was 'busy'...he'd have won by a landslide.

Rhydian may look alittle strange but then so does meat loaf, it's the voice that counts and when he release's an album, I will be buying it. With out a doubt he was the best one on that show, then the brother and sister, then limped voice Scot.

I can't remember that far back but I have thought is it because they know how to market Leon and not so sure with Rhydian because at the end of the day it's not about the competion it's about it being Simon's show and how much he makes out of it.

Rydian was by far the better singer. G4 were awesome also, but maybe the public were looking for something different especially after Paul Potts too. Maybe its an anti Welsh thing.

i think rhydian is fab and will do great things in the world of music, i think he needs to loose the white hair and not create his image around it he looked better at auditions. i voted for Leon because i thought he was good enough for the chance to shine and rhydian would get that chance anyway. I'm delighted Leon won and cant wait to see what kind of album he produces

It's a shame that people go on about his hair. He has red hair and bleaches it because people would have complained about him being 'a ginger', and now people are still complaining about how he looks! The poor guy can't win! My youngest son has red hair and it looks cute, but he'll probably have the p*ss taken out of him when he gets older.

do you think xfactor care ? they are making money & have marketed it this way. ballcocks is it the peoples vote, they (xfactor) know what buttons to push with the public in terms of marketing rhydian has come away with a million pound record deal. how many losers come away with a deal like that.

G4 had their slot & simon c, made his money from them.

Rhydian is fantastic Bex WE know that and so does his true fans and it is us that will DEMAND we see and here more of him.
I think he should have done one fun song on saturday myself it was all to serious so may have been the swinging factor or Kylie in her underwear!!
Simon said something odd after Rhydian sang last song and to me he knew who had won how??? Rhydian looked concerned at the time so what was going on that night in background???

yer i think they got some grief but they are earning a living now so that worked out for them. rhydian has been offered contracts from Simon and Andrew Lloyd Webber all ready so looks like he could be on a roll he/s got what it takes.

I think G4 would have won if Sharon hadn't had an outburst at Steve Brookstein so he got sympathy votes.

I think Leon won because the show encouraged people to vote for their nation rather than talent.

Rhydian should have won, the reason he didn't is NOTHING to do with his hair colour!!!!!
