If OFCOM investigate and discover that X Factor was fixed. What will happen?

Will Rhydian get the 拢1 million recording contract and Leon have it taken off him?
Or will the have to give both a 拢500k contract, or a full 拢1 million contract each?

Not a lot - Both of them are set to get a record deal and earn a fortune before disappearing onto the cruise liners circuit and then I'M A CELB ...........

AND there will be thousands more getting ready to fill out the applications for next year.

It will all get hushed up and get forgotten about,,,,

well i think it would be harsh on leon
i think leon would still have the contract
and rhydian would get offered one and he would get compensation and have the title of the true winner
although he has said that he doesnt want anything to do with it because he doesnt want the cold shoulder from anybody

i doubt the x factor was a fix, its too big of a show to do that
RHYDIAN WILL DO WELL, its sad he didnt get the title of winner but he will still do well and i will buy his single, or go to see him in theatre

They won't discover a fix on this occassion I don't think. If lots of people are saying they couldn't get through to vote for all three acts (which they are) who exactly was put at an unfair disadvantage? Nobody.

There will be another "outcry" then 5 minutes later it will all be forgotten. These phone in competitions are a joke as most of them seem to be fixed and this has been happening for years.

I doubt anyone would admit to it, even if something was found to be wrong with it.

For goodness sake, think it through. Simon Cowell was praising Rhyddians virtues for a reason. He knows which of the two would make the most money for him. Rhyddian. So any fix would ensure that Rhyddian won. What would be the point of a fix if it was not about making money.

Apart from which, after all the problems with fixed or illegal phone in's, do you not understand that the voting on this show was audited by a very reputable firm of auditors. Every effort possible went into ensuring accuracy. ANY IDIOT KNOWS IT WAS NOT FIXED.

Rhyddian was way to talented for the taste of the general public at large. They would not appreciate his true talent. What do the general public know about true talent? Nothing, right? Rhyddian is just to good for the poor taste of the masses. That's why he was outvoted.

Cowell knows that Leon will be a one or two hit wonder. Rhyddian will have a very long and successful career. If it was Rigged, Cowell would have rigged it in Rhyddian's favour

Any contracts signed by the artist will still stand in Law, unless there is an out clause.

I had no problems getting through and neither did the mobile phone voters. Perhaps it's something to do with people phoning from less efficient phonelines. We're with Tiscali and we get our broadband from them as well.

It does seem strange that I had no problems when so many others obviously did.

Also, the type of people who voted for Leon would have been young girls on their mobile phones, whereas the type of people who voted for Rhydian were probably doing it from landlines.

I can't understand why I didn't have any difficulties :-/
