And please explain why... And also keep in mind that I want to play heavy riffs and stuff. I'm not even going into a explanation of why the warlock sucks, just go to a store, play it, and you'll see why it's not worth the money, unless you are getting the more expensive models and for that amount you might as well by a Les Paul Goth.
Between the MTM-1 and MTM-2 I'd go with the MTM-2 just because the body might be a bit more suited for faster, heavier riff, they are pretty much the same guitar but the MTM-2 has a better neck (slimmer, faster) for what I'm assuming is metal or hardcore... the MTM-1 strikes me as a guitar for a Shredder/soloist who won't have much rhythm presence..
but then again dude, it's all the player not the guitar, you can do anything with any guitar.. but since you asked, I'd go with the MTM-2 for heavier riffs BC Rich was sold a while back and all their stuff is made in Mexico now...or maybe it was China...whatever. The point is, we know the only quality electric guitars are made in the USA. In a lot of things, that's just American bias, but in this case it's actual fact.
So, that leaves you with the Ibanezes...Ibanezees?...Ibaniz? However you pluralize it, the MTM-2 is the better instrument. You don't even need to play them, you just know that because it's the second version, it's clearly the better version. You know, like The Empire Strikes Back was better than the original Star Wars. Like Big Brother 2, was better than the original Big Brother. Like the second term of George W. Bush was better than the f...well, ok, almost everything. |
