Guitar Shredders, Whos Would Win?

A guitar duel between
Joe Satriani
Eddie Van Halen
Yngwie Malmsteen
Kirk Hammet
Which guitarist would emerge victorious?

I know, it's not the most imanigitive question ever but I've had a super stressful day and I'm not in a deep thought mood right now.
Besides I want to know what You think.
My money's on Yngwie, that guy could play "Eruption" backwards and blindfolded

Mike...That's Hilarious!
LMAO

Definitely be between Yngwie and Joe in the end. The last G3 tour DVD featured both these two for ready comparison. While Yngwie seems the obvious choice because of his style, I think I'm going with Joe. As incredulous as this may sound, Yngwie seems more of a one trick pony by comparison; I think Joe would just have more in his tank for greater variety and depth of playing. Speed would not be the ultimate factor here. As always, you and I would eventually be looking for soul as well.

Satch but Buckethead could destroy

i vouch for satch also

Difficult to compare as they all had / have their own individual style but as you asked... I have to say Kirk, I'm biased as he's the only one I've actually seen live but he was awesome.

Let's just imagine these guys were playing a game of HORSE.

Kirk would be out first. He'd just stand there and look at the other three and say "... but I haven't played a real guitar solo since 1989."

Eddie would be out next, not for any lack of skill, but he would hear about Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony getting rewarded for something; and he'd go off to pout in a corner somewhere.

Yngwie would be the last eliminated. Satriani would play something that Yngwie has a little trouble with. He'd then accuse Satch of "mocking him" and then threaten to "unleash the fury" before quitting in mid song and blaming it all on a poor sound system and claiming "the singer was off key".

Therefore, your winner: Joe Satriani

NP: "The Only One" - Operator

Yngwie Malmsteen FTW

Eddie Van Halen
All the others more or less copied him

Jeff Beck hands down, he would rip the others to shreds
Pun intended!!!

Well, sticking to the options :~

Yngwie Malmsteen

The first song of his I heard was the amazing instrumental track 'Blue'. Left me completely speechless.

YM certainly is the technician, but I'd bet on Kirk Hammet to be able to kick the other guitarists' @sses in a bar fight! LOL

Throw in Dime and Rhoads and you have a real dilemma bro but I'd say Yngwie, that dude has 6 fingers sometimes I swear but Hammet was tutored by Satriani though, man that's a hell of a question though bro if I cant sleep now it's your fault

EVH is my man!!!!!

i think your money is or the right dude... he is my bet also...

Eric Johnson would win....wait...was that an option?...
