Recommend Rock Groups or Artists similar to.....?

Can you recommend some rock groups or artists similar to the White Stripes, Jack Johnson, or the Decemberists? I know its broad. Im not a big fan of the rock they play on the radio, though, so i'd appreciate suggesting something different.
