Has a song ever...? |
given you that feeling? when i hear a song i really like, i get like shivers up and down my body ( i know what u mean)....songs that have done it for me have been "i stand alone" by godsmack (its very powerful), "mein hertz brennt" by rammstein, the music is just so amazing (hard to describe listen to it), "the red" by chevelle (its so relatable), "superbeast" by rob zombie,( very memorable and catchy song), "down with the sickness" my first real experience with metalish music and its still one of my favorites and "bodies" by drowning pool because they (when the original lead singer Dave Williams was alive) were one of the most amazing bands i have EVER listened to..i just loved them and still listen to their first cd all the time....its always the songs that i get immediatley into, get stuck in my head and that i listen to for years...... :) yep .. zoe jane .. by staind yes Shadow of the day: by linkin park HECK YA Aerosmith- I don't wanna miss a thing A feeling when your hair feels tingly? A feeling when your body get a goose bump feeling and it seems as if everything becomes cold. Your imagination rushes. All for a brief short period of time? Yes? I have gotten those many times. for me it is you give me something by james morrison i love music..but the trans-siberian orchestra almost moves me to tears... yeah After my girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me, I got in my car and the radio just played some old country song about his chick leaving him and I just really related to it. I dont know the name of the song because, well quite frankly i dont like country and the song kinda sucked, but I really related to. Thats the reason I didnt change the station. yeah.. absolutely.. I didnt wrote diary so most of memories is 'in that songs'.. when I heard 'right here waiting by richard mark' all the bittersweet memory of childhood came swinging in my mind. Elsewhere by Sarah McLachlan.....it's dead-on my relationship with my mom. yeah.. sometimes... when im feeling down.. i put on my mp3 player, and listen to had a bad day by daniel powder, and when u feel really close to someone listen to i dont wanna miss a thing by aerosmith... we all get it... it is just natural to feel that way sometimes... that is why people write music... so we can relate to it... ya its happend to me and then i started to bang my head back and forth. cause is SO FREAKIN AWSOME!!!!!! omg yes yesss!! the girl is mine - richard cheese and stephen hawking holes in the floor of heaven- steve wariner (cry EVERY time) take me from this place---amber pacific the first time i heard "Sweet child of mine" by guns and roses, i just about broke down with amazement. it gave me the weirdest feeling. also, "Paridise city" by guns and roses. Some insane and mesmerizing choruses are "Ten thousand strong" by iced earth, and "Kill rock and roll" by system of a down i know EXACTLY what you mean. sometimes songs are so good they just give me the chills. especially if you're anticipating a certain part of the song and then it plays and you just get...goosebumps. If Everyone Cared by Nickleback You might be interested to know that there are many of us in the world who have that same reaction. And not just to music, but to paintings and even poetry. This heightened sense is usually associated with traditional psychological disorders, primarily schizophrenia. This should not prejudice anyone's perception of us, but it does. We call ourselves 'aesthetes' You are a very intuitive person. A great many songs make me feel the same way, with some songs that I can never get tired of, from Western classical symphony, Rock, R&B to Rap to Blues, to Asian music, Middle Eastern music, or African. My heart and soul soars and plummets with every note, every rhythm. That's what music is supposed to do. It's not just a matter of listening to the lyrics. In fact, most people are so focused on the lyrics that they don't notice other instruments in the background. Or they get sooo caught up in the melody part of the song that they don't notice the harmony in the background. Try listening even more closely to your favorite music: for each part that "punch you in the gut," it has a balance of other sounds (chorus or instruments) that create that specific emphasis. Keep it up, music lover! Music can even bring inspirations to your creative ability in other artistic areas. tears in heaven-eric clapton "cats in the cradle" by Ugly Kid Joe Two come to mind. "Patience" by Guns N Roses and "Over the Hills and Far Away" by Led Zeppelin. Both awesome. shadow of the day by linkin park yes... its with me by sum 41.. many songs... but i'll never forget "digital bath" by deftones cause the first time i heard it was at a house party they had, and i cried. i was like "am i really crying over this song?" it was odd. i love that song so much. yeah ,alice in cahins-we die young, i heard it once after a near death experience, and it made me think really hard about life. |
