ok. i took my pick gaurd off my guitar (a J. Reynolds electric, about 3 and a half years old) and where me first pick up is, there is room to put a dubble pick up. and cutting my pick guard apart i can handle, because i can always just get anopther one. there is also that space under the second pick up. the only thing is a dont know how to do the whiring. is there any way that i could learn to do this with out totaly f-ing up my guitar? i really dont have hardly any money right now, and i dont think that ill have any left after i but the pickups. also, i really want to learn. my guitar is my life and i plan to own MANY more and i dont want to have to take them in and pay alot of money every time i want them modified. if there is any one that knows how to do this and is willing to teach me i would be really REALLY greatful. like i said though, my guitar IS my life so i cant really afford to lose my Jimmy (thats my guitar.) i do also have a First Act guitar, but it is real hard for... me to play it because the neck is bent and i cant lower the volume any more. THANK YOU! Almost all new pickups come with wiring diagrams showing you how to attach them.
