What Amazing Old Rock Songs Are There?

Every good modern band has covered an awesome rock song from the sixties, seventies, eighties nineties. Flyleaf did smells like teen spirit, My Chemical Romance did under pressure. Green day did saints are comming. Panic at the disco did killer queen. Wat awesome rock song is there by a band that doesnt tour anymore for my band to cover?

maybe something challenging would be to do a heavy cover of America's "Horse with no name" It is a great song and nobody has injected some steroids into it

I suggest you buy the album "Punk Goes 80's" and you'll get a buncha rock bands singing bonnie tyler and what not

I've always thought someone should cover an old song by The Kinks called Lola!!awesome song!! or Space Cowboy by The Steve Miller Band, or Can't you hear me knockin'? by Marshall Tucker Band, ZZ Top's Tush or The Doors People are Strange...........but Lola is still my fave pic.

Why does it matter that they are still touring?...av a go at "Jump" by Van Halen?...that should keep you busy for a while....
